Handle outreach replies and objections

  • Interested: answer their question first, confirm fit, then offer the smallest sensible next step.
  • Not now: acknowledge the timing and ask when a follow-up would actually be useful.
  • Objection: clarify the concern before arguing. Give a short, factual answer and let them decide.
  • Wrong person: thank them and ask for direction only when that is appropriate.
  • Not interested or opt-out: stop the sequence and respect the answer. Do not try to overcome it.
A meeting is not the goal at any cost. Book when there is real interest and ICP fit; otherwise keep the reply helpful and human.
